Seven water-themed photos are on display now at Gurnee's new Riverside Cafe (401 N. Riverside Drive, Gurnee). Paola Smith created a wonderful go-to spot for coffee, breakfast, lunch. . .and coming soon, dinner on the weekends. Thanks to Paola and the team for featuring my photography, picking up on the "river" in their name.
The seven photographs on display are all from Lake County--Gurnee, Waukegan, Zion, Grayslake, Lake Barrington.
All seven photographs printed on metal (24W x 24W) are for sale, with $150 (of the total cost of $250) going towards Bethel Lutheran Church's community outreach ministry. Other sizes are also available for special order.
Two of the photographs are from a new series called Neustonics.
neus•ton'ic : minute aquatic organisms that float or swim in the surface film of a body of water.
Photographs in the series are taken at the water's surface (right at water level or just below) or the surface's reflection.
